Hyundai H350 Hailed Best Minibus by Local Media Group

GREENHILLS, San Juan City – Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the Philippines’ official distributor of Hyundai passenger and commercial vehicles, won the “2017 Best Minibus” award for the Hyundai H350 from the Car Awards Group Inc. (CAGI) last November, 2017.

CAGI is composed of a group of motoring journalists who are devoted to testing and reviewing vehicles annually to vie for the Car of the Year Awards. This activity gives recognition to the best new motor vehicles launched and available for sale in the Philippines during the preceding one year period with the aim of enabling Filipino car buyers to create informed decisions based on the independent judgement of CAGI jurors.

Held at the Arca South in Taguig City, the participating vehicles underwent a series of assessments from qualitative tests, to performance and technical tests. CAGI Jurors are not allowed to choose the vehicle to test, as these are assigned by lottery. And to further ensure fairness and accuracy, KPMG served as the official group observing and tabulating the scores - both Qualitative & Quantitative.

Known for its stability and handling, it came as no surprise that the Hyundai H350 won the Best Minibus category in this year’s Car of the Year Awards. “Despite its size, it still handled like a car,” says CAGI President Ronald de los Reyes.

This prestige is just one of the many milestones that the H350 has reached in 2017. Last October, a fleet of fifty (50) H350 vans were deployed to serve the transport needs of the ASEAN 50 delegates.
