Pro Driver Wins Hyundai Tucson from Shell 105 Raffle Promo

He was going about his usual routine for his expat boss and gassed up at a Shell station in Lipa, Batangas. Jergy didn’t think much of joining the then-ongoing 105 Shell Raffle Promo, organized by Pilipinas Shell to celebrate its 105th year in the Philippines.
He got a call back in February 26, 2020. The lady on the other end of the line informed him that he had won a car from the raffle. But then, he had doubts as friends had been warning him about the proliferation of online scams.
Fortunately, he did remember joining the raffle. After dropping by a Shell station for the usual gas up, he did see his name on a poster that announced the raffle winners.
With the onset of the lockdowns, the vehicle turnover only happened a year after. Jergy was not letting go of the opportunity of owning his own car.
“As a driver, I have been seeing the Tucson on our streets since 2013 and I still see it around. Ibig sabihin, maganda ang engine performance niya,” he shares. Take it from a pro who developed an eye for quality from close to 20 years of practical experience on the road.
